Chakra Affinities

Every person has Chakra that has an affinity towards one of the five principle Elements (Fire, Wind, Earth, Water, and Lightning).Players can only use Elemental Jutsu of his/her Affinity. To find out what affinity someone has, pieces of paper made from a special type of tree (that are grown and fed with chakra) are used that react to even the slightest hint of chakra in any of a number of ways, depending on the nature latent in the chakra.

Ninjutsu

Ninjutsu refers to any technique that utilizes chakra and allows the user to perform actions that a normal person otherwise would be incapable of doing. Ninjutsu relies on chakra and, most of the time, hand seals to be effective. Many ninjutsu can be classified as an elemental jutsu, in those cases where a specific element is used.

Genjutsu

Genjutsu are techniques that are employed in the same fashion as ninjutsu, requiring chakra and hand seals. However, the primary difference between the two is that the effects of genjutsu are illusory. Genjutsu techniques manipulate the flow of chakra in the victim's brain, thus causing a disruption in their senses.

Taijutsu

Taijutsu is a basic form of jutsu that typically does not require chakra, but chakra may be used to enhance techniques. Taijutsu generally require no hand seals to perform and are much quicker to use than ninjutsu or genjutsu. Taijutsu is simply put, hand-to-hand combat.

Birthrights

Birthrights are Bloodlines/abilities passed down genetically in specific clans.Birthrights abilities that work via the user's eye are called Dōjutsu. Other Birthrights include mixing one type of elemental chakra with another, creating a new one unique to the users, which is usually impossible for normal ninja.

Expertises

Expertises are abilities that take an extensive amount of time and practice to learn. Every village has different Expertises. One may learn two expertises in exchange for owning a Birthright.

Energy Amplifiers

Summons

A powerful Jutsu that allows a ninja to summon animals, objects and the dead to fight on their behalf. The ninja normally signs a blood contract with the animal species, which allows them to summon different size and skill levels of creature. The ability to summon more advanced animals largely depends upon the amount of chakra the ninja can muster to perform the jutsu. By signing this contract, the creatures themselves can also reverse summon the contract signer to their location.

Fighting Styles are extensive systems of codified practices and traditions of combat. Martial arts all have similar objectives: to physically defeat other persons or defend oneself or others from physical threat. Some martial arts take a great deal of their underlying theory from beliefs systems
